Patricia Woodward

Patricia Woodward is a veteran teacher with over 25 years of experience at the junior high and high school level. She was named Colorado Teacher of the Year in 1987.

She was the first executive director of the Fort Collins Women’s Resource Center and also sold real estate for a brief time. Other than that, she has always taught school and says, “The best part, of course, is the kids—their enthusiasm, energy and honesty.”

Woodward grew up on the southeastern plains of Colorado and now lives in Fort Collins. She has four children and four grandchildren and likes reading, gardening, music, walking and lifting weights. She is also the author of The Teacher’s Almanac.
